At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on!Job ResponsibilitiesMonitor the labor cost of the shift, paying close attention to overtimeAccurate accounting close-out of special eventsChecking accuracy of labor system at the end of the shiftMaintain appropriate atmosphere (lights, sound level, room temperature, cleanliness, line of sight, table maintenance, room capacity)Conduct operations with a Guest First mindsetEnsure all recap forms are submitted to accountingPerform opening, ongoing and closing dutiesConduct daily pre-shift in an upbeat and motivational mannerPerform daily liquor pulls for bar staffEnsure all cash drawers have appropriate changeLog nightly sales and operational issues in Manager Log Book, either manually or onlineConduct safety, cleaning and maintenance walk-through – interior and exterior of buildingCheck ticket counts with box office before shift beginsCheck email and mailbox for current informationUpdate Contact Log at the end of the shiftFamiliarize self with event sheetsFacilitate proper inter-departmental communication and organizationQualificationsRequired:(State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement)/ Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or EquivalentHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work late hoursFlexible schedule3 years supervisory experience in high volume restaurant/music hall environmentKnowledge of Microsoft Office products and Point of Sales system, preferably MICROSKnowledge of state, federal and local liquor laws and health code regulationsAbility to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded mannerTolerance of all cultures, music and art formsSkilled in decision making, leadership, guest relations, interpersonal communications, organization, team building, time management, and staff managementAbility to motivate staff, problem solve, lead, delegate, follow up, deal with volatile situations with tact and confidencePreferred:At least 2 years experience with a national restaurant chainExperience in a live music environmentCollege diploma in related fieldPhysical Demands/Working EnvironmentWorking environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feetMust be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniquesEqual Employment OpportunityWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
