Job TitleCyclops Setting Tools TechnicianJob DescriptionPRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESWork closely with customer field representatives to effectively coordinate Cyclops Setting ToolsDisassemble, clean, inspect, rebuild, and test Fortress Cyclops Setting Tools per the applicable Fortress Work InstructionsProvide technical support/onboarding to customers for Fortress Cyclops Setting ToolsEnsures all necessary equipment and tools are available and adequately maintained to perform all aspects of the jobEnsure all QA/QC policies & procedures are always top priorityEnsure all employees are up to date with safety training and PPECoordinate tool needs between shop and upper managementInterviewing, hiring, and firing of Tool Assistants and SpecialistsTrain and progress shop personnelCreate scheduling and grading employeesMaintain reports on ongoing jobs and activity to Fortress managementMaintain adequate inventory levelsOversee all technicians time sheets/days offEnsure housekeeping is kept up to highest standard every dayMaintains the highest level of professionalism and works with honesty and integrityContinue to grow an upbeat, exciting work culture that is both diversified and uniqueProactively looking ahead to identify and provide solutions to issues before they become problemsAny other duty, responsibility, or task assigned by supervisorJOB REQUIREMENTSStrong technical background working with downhole tools utilized in pump down operations, including wireline setting tools, frac plugs, and perforating gunsSelf-motivated and detail orientedAvailable to work weekends and holidays as needed to support customer field operationsExcellent problem solving, interpersonal communication, and operational management skillsWorking knowledge of Windows 10 OS, and Microsoft OfficeForklift trainingProficiency with basic hand toolsAbility to lift a minimum of 75 lbsThis position may require periodic travel to other districts as necessary to meet company needs and support operational initiatives
