Operations Supervisor Night ShiftRun the night shift with Dayton Freight as an Operations Supervisor! If you're organized, driven, and ready to take ownership, you'll thrive here.ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule, and optimize freight movement for maximum efficiencyTrack performance metrics and improve service center operationsReview reports and collaborate with your team to keep everything on trackCoordinate freight appointments and ensure smooth delivery flowAssist with billing, rating, manifesting, and freight analysisBuild strong communication with customers and internal teamsHelp train, develop, and evaluate team membersSupport hiring and onboarding alongside the Service Center ManagerMaintain a safe, secure, and well-run facilityInvestigate incidents and help implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with safety regulations (DOT, OSHA, EPA, ICC)Lead team meetings and keep everyone alignedTake on special projects and keep operations moving forwardIt is every employee's duty to participate in the company's goal of satisfying our customers economically.
