For more information about Modine, visit modine.com.We are seeking a driven and hands-on Operations Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in our data center production facility for our 3rd shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional (Engineering/Supply Chain/Business Administration) graduate who is eager to learn, lead, and grow within operations. You'll gain first hand experience in production management, continuous improvement, and team leadership while playing a key role in optimizing our processes and delivering high-quality products.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management & Team Management:Supervise, coach, and support a team of production employees to ensure smooth and efficient operationsMonitor and manage daily production schedules to meet output targets, deadlines, and customer requirementsCollaborate and integrate into the site leadership team with direct responsibility for production team members performance and plant outputEnsure proper staffing levels and coordinate workloads for optimal efficiencyResponsible for the administrative tasks to ensure the proper management of time/attendance, disciplinary actions, promotion, labor reporting among other tasks to ensure the workforce is properly accounted forDrive Operational Excellence:Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles, identify process improvements, and contribute to increased efficiency and qualityIdentify and troubleshoot production bottlenecks, working closely with site leadership engineering and maintenance teams to resolve issuesMonitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), driving actions to improve throughput, efficiency, and cost-effectivenessEnsure Quality & Safety:Maintain strict adherence to quality standards and safety regulations, fostering a culture of accountabilityResponsible for the adherence and enforcement of all safety standards for the team supervisedEnsure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and testing protocols for chiller productionCollaborate with quality control teams to address defects, implement corrective actions, and enhance overall product reliabilityMaintain strict compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policiesMonitor Production Metrics:Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and take proactive steps to address bottlenecks or inefficienciesDrive daily accountability through the Tier meeting process to ensure that all levels of information flow in the factory are accurate and driving continuous learning and improvementCollaborate Across Departments:Work closely with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to troubleshoot issues, improve workflows and drive continuous improvementWork closely with engineering, supply chain, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and seamless coordinationSupport new product introductions and product changes, ensuring proper training and implementation on the production floorCommunicate effectively with leadership and staff, providing regular updates on production status and challengesLearn & Grow:Take advantage of mentorship and training opportunities to develop the skills needed for future leadership roles within operationsParticipate and learn from the Site leadership team how to lead a team and effectively ensure process and production method adherence for the teamReceive supervisor training from corporate training resourcesRequired Education & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) or related field preferred, or equivalent experience in manufacturing leadership. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, or related industries. Strong motivation to lead, take ownership, and make an impact on production operations. Analytical thinking with a drive to identify and implement process improvements. Familiarity with chiller systems, refrigeration components, and manufacturing processes is a plus. Strong team management, coaching, and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to leadership.

Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies preferred. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
