Operations SpecialistThis Operations Specialist is responsible for performing daily operational duties of a Groundwater Treatment Facility in the Baltimore / Philadelphia area. Must be able to travel to project sites. In this position you will:Perform daily operation of a Groundwater Treatment FacilityPerform operational duties, daily testing and record keeping as well as process control functionsResponsibilities also include regulatory and safety complianceAssist with routine maintenance and facility grounds upkeepIn addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this positionRequirementsApply basic knowledge of relevant principles and tools, as directedApply standard protocol for work, as directedCommunicate effectively by written and verbal meansPerform multiple concurrent tasks and meet timelines, as directedWork well independently and as a team3 years of relative coursework or project experience in treatment plant operationsEducation - High School diploma or GED is required.

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.Preferred QualificationsKnowledgeable and skilled in groundwater treatment technologies, including but not limited to metals removal systems, particulate filtration systems, sludge dewatering, ultraviolet oxidation, absorptive resin/steam regeneration systems, liquid and vapor phase granular activated carbon systemsA Maryland Class VI Operators license or equivalent, or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months employment.The targeted base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 annually.
