Operations Specialist 1Operations Specialist I is a systems-based support role within the fulfillment operation. This position supports department leadership by helping coordinate daily activity, guiding employees, monitoring department performance, and using reports/data to identify opportunities for improvement.Key responsibilities include:Provide guidance and direction to department employees during daily operationsMonitor employee output, order flow, department progress, and operational performanceUse operational reports, system data, and labor tools to identify trends, gaps, and follow-up needsPrepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly reporting related to output, accuracy, labor usage, and department resultsCommunicate performance updates, concerns, and operational needs to department leadershipReinforce SOPs, safety expectations, quality standards, and performance requirementsAssist with coaching conversations, employee follow-up, and escalation of performance concerns when neededSupport shift start-up, work assignments, labor movement, and department adjustmentsHelp identify process issues and recommend practical improvements based on data and floor observationsParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective action follow-upSpecific knowledge, skills, and abilities include:Experience providing work direction or guidance to hourly employees preferredExperience using warehouse systems, reporting tools, labor reports, or operational tracking systemsStrong analytical skills with the ability to review data and identify performance trendsStrong professional communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong follow-up, organization, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced fulfillment center environmentPreferred education and experience:Minimum of 4 years of consecutive experience with coordination/lead support in logistics, warehouse, fulfillment, or similar operationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferredMaintain a professional and visible presence in the departmentSupport employees while partnering with department leadershipUse data and reporting to support better operational decisionsFollow through on assignments, reporting, and employee-related follow-upSupport a culture of safety, accountability, efficiency, and respectPhysical environment/occupational risks:Warehouse environmentLifting up to 50lbsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
