Operations ManagerThe Operations Manager will participate in and provide tactical business processes to successfully manage the operations. This role will proactively manage and direct all manufacturing operations and teams with functional leaders to meet customer requirements and achieve and/or exceed profit plan and AOP targets.Coordinates all manufacturing processes to meet established plant forecast and budget goals and objectivesProvide direction on manufacturing process upgrades and establishes acceptable work instruction standardsMaintains manufacturing quality standards to meet all customer requirementsPlans with scheduling the flow of manufacturing material to ensure improved OTDImplements and drives lean and six sigma projects to improve business operations and improve overhead rates and operating marginsDevelop department capital and operating budgetsImproves quality, cost, yield, productivity, safety, and deliveryMaintain employee relationships striving for continuous improvementReview and approve organizational structure, staffing and training of manufacturing personnelSelects and decides on operating methods, purchases and requirements of machinery and equipmentProduction line flow and operational acumenLean manufacturing skills and toolsTeam leadershipInterpersonal communications skillsInternal customer relations/management skillsDMAIC process skillsBA in Business or Operations degree is preferred, MBA preferredMinimum 5 years experience in manufacturing of electronic, mechanical and or Aerospace and Automotive assembly environment or related businessExperience in working cross functionally with other functional leaders in a matrix environmentExperience in Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Project, Windows, Excel, Microsoft ProjectProficient with MRP/ERP systemsResource AllocationManagement SupportTechnical expertise in general manufacturing environmentHigh tolerance for ambiguity and uncertaintyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsLeadership skillsSalary Range: $101,000.00 - $127,000.00 (annual estimate)
