This individual will serve as the right-hand person to the POD Leader, managing daily customer and carrier-facing responsibilities for a large book of business. From covering loads and bidding spot freight to building strong relationships on both sides of the supply chain, the ideal candidate brings energy, adaptability, and drive.If you’ve operated in cradle-to-grave environments and love supporting high-volume freight while making decisions that move the business forward—this is the right opportunity for you.Responsibilities:Support the POD Leader in managing a large, high-performing book of businessCover 350-400 loads/month across dry van, reefer, and other OTR modesBid and execute on spot market opportunities with strong pricing skillsServe as the main point of contact for both customer and carrier communicationAnticipate challenges and proactively resolve service issuesMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend process improvementsQualifications:2+ years of experience in carrier sales, operations, or cradle-to-grave freight brokerageCradle-to-grave (C2G) experience preferred; no book of business requiredExcellent customer service and negotiation skillsMust be able to work on-site in Houston, TXStrong multitasking, load management, and problem-solving abilities
