Operations Director with Top Global Hedge Fund

The firm is now seeking an experienced and ambitious Operations professional to join its expanding platform in a high-impact Operations Director role .

Working closely with senior stakeholders, business heads and Portfolio Managers, the successful candidate will take significant ownership across the operational function, overseeing core fund operations while also helping develop, improve and scale the infrastructure supporting the wider business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Operations professional who wants to move beyond pure BAU responsibilities and play a meaningful role in the continued development of a growing hedge fund platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Fund Operations: Oversee core operational processes across multiple strategies and asset classes, including trade lifecycle management, reconciliations and month-end NAV processes.
• Senior Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Portfolio Managers, senior business leaders and other internal stakeholders across the platform.
• External Relationships: Manage key relationships with fund administrators, prime brokers, counterparties and other service providers.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Identify inefficiencies, strengthen controls and drive improvements across operational workflows and infrastructure.
• Platform Development: Help establish scalable processes, controls and best practices to support the continued growth and complexity of the business.
• Strategic Projects: Take ownership of wider operational initiatives and projects with visibility across the firm.
