Responsible for operations of the agency including facility management, information systems, transportation, facilities, procurement, and administration of business development. Supervises contractors and technicians and ensures that the Performance Standards and other regulations are met and that agency facilities and operations are effective and efficient. Works closely with agency managers to coordinate agency operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates Degree in Related Field Required (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Preferred)
- Thorough Knowledge of General Administrative Practices - generally gained through four years of high level administrative experience
- Strong Background with Computers using Microsoft and Google Applications
- Ability to Interpret and Implement Complex Policies and Regulations
- Working Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Regulations Governing Head Start, Childcare,Procurement, Transportation, and Business Management
- Strong Oral/Written Communication Skills
- Ability to Determine and Prioritize Demanding Workload while Being Flexible to Emergent/Unplanned Needs and Situations
- Demonstrated Experience in Systematically Maintaining Facilities and Making or Directing the Necessary Repairs and Improvements
- Significant Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to Handle Highly Stressful and Sensitive Situations in a Professional Manner
- Ability to Work Independently and Maintain Professional Boundaries and Confidentiality
- Ability to Exercise Tact and Discretion in All Employee and Vendor Interactions
- Strong Organization and Time Management Skills; Ability to Meet Tight Deadlines
- Frequent Driving to Meet with Vendors, Inspect and Evaluate Sites, Etc.
- Ability to be On-Call for Emergency Situations
- Participate in Required Annual Trainings
- Able to Lift and Carry up to 50 Pounds
- Can Stand and/or Sit for Extended Periods of Time Interchangeably, with the Ability to Regularly Kneel, Stoop, Bend, and/or Reach
