Operations AnalystThe Operations Analyst is responsible for delivering data-driven and financially informed insights, developing scalable reporting solutions, and supporting operational and financial decision-making through strong technical expertise and business acumen. This role plays a critical part in improving visibility, efficiency, cost management, and performance across multiple departments.Location: ONSITE at Skechers DC in Rancho Belago, CA (Relocation assistance is not offered for this role) Salary Range: $71,452 - $100,000 / AnnuallyWhat You Will Do:Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI and Excel to include advanced formulas and automationExtract, transform, and analyze large datasets using SQL including joins, CTEs, and query optimization, and DAX to support business and financial needsDevelop and maintain analytical and financial models for forecasting, labor planning, cost analysis, KPI tracking, and performance analysis.Proactively identify trends, anomalies, cost drivers, and opportunities to improve operational and financial performance.Ensure all reporting is accurate, timely, and structured for clarity and usability across technical and non-technical audiences, including financial stakeholdersContinuously improve reporting frameworks to enhance efficiency, scalability, and visual effectivenessCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business and financial needs and translate them into analytical solutionsDeliver actionable insights that support both day-to-day operations and financial/strategic decision-makingSupport recurring executive reporting, including KPI summaries, financial performance insights, and QBR materialsIdentify and implement opportunities to streamline manual processes through automation and improved data workflowsContribute to the development and standardization of datasets, metrics, and reporting structures, including financial definitions where applicableSupport data quality initiatives, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and reliability across all outputsValidate data sources and outputs to maintain high standards of accuracy, integrity, and financial reliabilityDocument data definitions, logic, and reporting methodologies to ensure transparency and repeatabilityAssist in maintaining structured and scalable data environments for reporting and analysisProactively analyze and interpret database tables and fields to ensure data completeness and integrityRequired Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or closely related field.Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesStrong management, communication, and organizational skillsAdaptable and capable of working in a fast-paced environmentCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Two or more years of analyst experience
