Operations Clerk IIThe Operations Clerk II plays a critical role in supporting branch operations through data analysis, data cleansing, and accounts receivable support. This role involves handling both routine and non-routine operational processes, ensuring billing accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining high-quality data integrity.The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and self-directed, with the ability to work independently, navigate multiple systems, and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform data analysis, validation, and cleansing to ensure accuracy and consistencyInvestigate discrepancies and identify root causes to improve data qualityExecute standard and non-routine operational processes efficientlyMaintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal proceduresResearch and resolve accounts receivable issues and customer inquiriesEnsure billing accuracy, invoicing, and timely payment processingSupport resolution of discrepancies related to invoices and paymentsCollaborate with teams to improve collections and financial accuracyCreate and process orders in SAP for quoted jobs and installationsHandle purchase order issues, including non-compliance flagsManage transactions with unique job requirements and varying complexityResolve issues related to third-party order processing systemsCollaborate with internal and external customers to meet expectationsProvide timely resolution to customer issues with a focus on satisfactionCommunicate effectively across departments for alignment and issue resolutionIndependently research and resolve operational and customer issuesIdentify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutionsSupport multiple business units simultaneouslyMaintain a proactive and solution-oriented approachDeliver results by effectively utilizing available resourcesDemonstrate continuous learning and professional developmentCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsMaintain high performance standards and accountabilityRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience, ORBachelor's degree with demonstrated capability in similar rolesExperience & SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with accounts receivable, billing, or operations supportAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTechnical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)Familiarity with CRM or Field Service tools (MS CRM / MS Field Service)Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and toolsAdditional CompetenciesStrong multitasking and prioritization skillsAbility to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative mindset with cross-functional teamsUnderstanding of general business and operational conceptsWork EnvironmentOnsite role in Troy, MIOffice-based setting with standard business hours
