Analyst, eCommerce Compliance, Rules (Contractor Position)The Omnichannel Platform Compliance group within Client is responsible for defining, enforcing and promoting policies, programs and products to ensure safe transactions and create trust perception across our online and marketplace businesses. The position is responsible for analyzing item data, helping to develop and improve systematic rules for enforcement of policies. This role will partner with various teams including Compliance, Policy Governance, Merchant and Retail teams, Operations, and Product.
An ideal candidate is highly customer focused and is a detail-oriented, self-starter. We are looking for a cross-functional, team player to support and assist in item risk management that operates with a strong sense of urgency, is comfortable working in a dynamic online environment with shifting business needs and changing requirements.Monitor site and ensure item compliance with established policies and guidelines. Monitor item reports for trends or developing risks to the site, this may include analysis of internal item data reports, reviewing news stories for item trends, or working on annotations with machine learning models.
Analyze data and drive rule efficiency to support Business, Compliance policies and internal standards, this will include developing rule logic to enforce site policies; identifying gaps and areas for improvements and enhancements; troubleshooting and analyzing item data to identify the root cause of an issue; analyzing results in order to measure effectiveness of rules; testing rules to build improved efficiencies and processes; auditing rules to limit the impact to business and legitimate transactions; collaborating and communicating with cross functional partners and key stakeholders.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent work experienceExcel and data analysis experienceStrong attention to detail, problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsHigh degree of initiative and deadline-driven productivityExperience working with partners and teammates across different time zones and culturesPreferred Qualifications:Experience with eCommerce, retail and customer service, compliance, SEO/SEM, or content review/moderationExcellent verbal and written communication skills with people at a variety of levelsResourceful and intellectually curious mentality, not afraid to dig into issues or projectsExperience with SQL, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow and SalesforceFamiliar and comfortable working in gray areas or dealing with offensive contentPop culture nerd, gamer or avid online shopper a plus.What are the top 3 skills needed/required?Critical thinking, analytical, detailed-oriented, Excel knowledgeWhat skills and/or experience would separate the top candidate?Prior experience in data analysis, eCommerce experience, T&S/Compliance background, investigative mindsetWhat makes a candidate profile stand out to you?
