Operations Associate - Loan Operations

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Operations Associate to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Support the operational processing of credit and loan transactions from initiation through settlement and ongoing administration.
• Monitor transaction activity, funding events, reconciliations, and account balances to ensure accurate recordkeeping and reporting.
• Coordinate with internal teams, financial institutions, service providers, and external partners to resolve operational matters and support transaction execution.
• Prepare operational reports, maintain transaction records, and assist with portfolio monitoring activities.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency, automation, and control enhancement initiatives.

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of operations experience supporting credit investments, loans, fixed income products, or related financial instruments.
• Working knowledge of trade settlement, investment operations, transaction processing, and reconciliation procedures.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze data and resolve operational discrepancies.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions, deadlines, and priorities in a fast paced environment.

• Previous experience within an asset management firm, private credit platform, hedge fund, bank, or financial services organization.
• Familiarity with loan administration, syndicated lending, structured credit products, or investment operations processes.
• Prior experience using investment operations, portfolio management, settlement, or accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with the capability to work effectively across internal teams and external business partners.
