Operations Associate-CDL DriverJoin the Vermont Foodbank as an Operations Associate – CDL Driver and help bring food, hope and connection to Vermont communities. We're seeking a dependable, safety-focused driver who wants more than a job, you want a mission.What you'll do:Safely operate Foodbank vehicles across Vermont, local routes, home daily.Load/unload, distribute food product, work with volunteers + staff to deliver service.Engage with community members of diverse backgrounds, your role matters.Support warehouse logistics: product storage, equipment movement, food reclamation.Collaborate with Warehouse, Facilities and Community Impact teams.What we're looking for:Valid CDL (Class B +) (Would consider providing CDL for ideal candidates)Comfortable with lifting, loading, physical tasks.Strong communicator, team player, self-motivated and safe.Passion for community service, willingness to interact respectfully with our clientele.Compensation & Benefits:Full-time, in-person role based in Barre, VT.Health insurance (100% employer-paid)Dental (90% employer-paid)Vision, Life Insurance (100% paid)Short & Long Term Disability (100% paid)403(b) retirement plan with employer contribution after 1 year16 paid holidays (including the week between Christmas and New Year's)Vacation + Sick PTO accrual, 5 personal PTO days each yearPaid Family & Medical Leave, paid bereavement, paid jury duty & civic engagement leaveWhy join us?Because you'll do work that matters.
