Eventive Sports Tailgate AssistantEventive Sports is a leader in sports event management, overseeing premier events including the Regions Tradition, Children's of Alabama Indy Grand Prix, Magic City Classic, UFL, and gameday operations for The University of Alabama, Auburn University, The University of Oklahoma, Alabama State University and the Rose Bowl Stadium. In partnership with the University of Oklahoma, Eventive Sports manages public tailgating on the North Oval.We are seeking a motivated assistant to support gameday tailgate operations and help deliver an exceptional fan experience. This hands-on role is ideal for students interested in sports management, event operations, or hospitality.

Availability on home football gamedays is required, typically Friday and Saturday (or Thursday and Friday for Friday games).Duties may include, but not be limited to the following:Oval public tailgate managementInteract with tailgaters to ensure positive experienceSupport tailgaters unloading personal tailgate equipmentOversight of event staff – access control, emergency response, securityOperational duties – signage, equipment, etc.Collection and analysis of key tailgate metricsWork with vendors to ensure quality service is providedObserve the fan experience and provide improvement ideasOther duties as assignedAbilities, skills and knowledge:Self-motivated & team orientedEnergetic, outgoing personalityStrong organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsInterest in sports and/or a career in the sports industryProficient with Microsoft Office suite – Word, PowerPoint, ExcelWillingness to do manual labor & ability to lift 40 poundsWillingness to work all 7 University of Oklahoma home games & long hoursExpected hours:Hours are anticipated to be 30 hours per week during home game weeksHours during away game & off weeks will varyPlease send resumes to & note "OU TAILGATE INTERNSHIP" in subject line
