Pay: $21.00 - $24.00/hour
Schedule: 30 hours/week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, with the ability to work 2 – 3 evenings and 1- 2 weekend days/month, ideally.
Assignment Length: Start ASAP through the end of the year, with the possibility of an extension.
Company/Position Overview: Our client, a nonprofit organization fighting against hygiene poverty in Colorado, is seeking a temporary Operations & Program Support Assistant to help their team through the end of the year. This is a hands-on role that moves between office projects, warehouse support, volunteer activities, events, and community outreach. This position provides day-to-day support across our client’s programs and operations. A key part of the role is quality assurance – carefully following instructions, checking work, confirming quantities and details, and speaking up when something appears incorrect or incomplete. Must be comfortable wearing a mask in the office environment as requested.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general office support, including printing, mailing, filing, shipments, and organizing materials
- Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, counting, labeling, inventory, product pulls, and preparing distributions
- Support volunteer and packing events with setup, check-in, product preparation, replenishment, and cleanup
- Support major event 1st week of November (this will require more hours)
- Perform quality assurance checks on product pulls, quantities, labels, packing lists, emails, mailings, and other materials for accuracy
- Help keep office, warehouse, storage, and volunteer areas organized, safe, and ready for use
- Support community outreach, promotions, and event logistics, including preparing and distributing materials, signs, and supplies, and connecting with neighboring businesses and community partners
- Follow organizational procedures related to inventory, volunteers, safety, confidentiality, and quality assurance, and promptly communicate when something appears incorrect
- Jump in where needed to support staff with special projects and the day-to-day behind-the-scenes work of a busy nonprofit
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of front desk/administrative experience
- Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable shifting priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service-focused
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Team oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
