Operations AnalystOverview As the Operations Analyst working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will support Data Analytics and Information Management tasking. You will be expected to have knowledge of and access to program datasets and broader information systems and databases such as NSWC Corona Ship Maintenance Data Improvement Initiative (SMDII), Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), Navy Data Environment (NDE), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer. ResponsibilitiesGenerate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or performance data for review by managers and other stakeholdersIdentify and analyze industry trends with business strategy implicationsAnalyze business intelligence and data to support recommendations for action and updates to processes and proceduresStudy work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, and cost analysisCompile reports, charts, graphs, and online content that describe and interpret findings of analysesCompile statistics from source materials such as program datasets and broader Navy information systems; Display them appropriately for their intended useQualificationsBachelor's degree in math, science, engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years professional experienceActive DoD Secret clearance10% travelPreferred:Master's degree in science, engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 7 years professional experience
