This role serves as a key business partner to operations leadership by transforming data into actionable insights, identifying process improvement opportunities, and supporting strategic initiatives that drive productivity, quality, delivery performance, and profitability. This role combines strong analytical capabilities with a practical understanding of manufacturing operations and can effectively communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Performance AnalysisAnalyze manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, planning, and customer service performance dataDevelop and maintain operational dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reportingMonitor trends and identify root causes of performance gapsSupport operational reviews by providing data-driven recommendationsConduct ad hoc analysis to support leadership decision-makingManufacturing & Supply Chain SupportAnalyze production throughput, labor utilization, capacity, and schedule attainmentEvaluate inventory performance, material availability, and inventory turnsIdentify bottlenecks and constraints impacting production flowSupport Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and capacity planning activitiesMonitor supplier performance and material flow metricsData Management & ReportingExtract, validate, and analyze data from ERP, MES, WMS, CRM, and other business systemsEnsure data accuracy and consistency across reporting platformsBuild automated reporting solutions and business intelligence toolsCreate executive-level presentations and business casesProject SupportSupport strategic initiatives including automation, digital transformation, ERP enhancements, and operational improvement projectsTrack project performance against objectives, timelines, and expected benefitsAssist with implementation planning and post-implementation measurementQualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in:Operations ManagementSupply Chain ManagementIndustrial EngineeringBusiness AnalyticsManufacturing EngineeringFinanceRelated fieldExperience3–7 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations analysis, industrial engineering, or business analyticsExperience working in a manufacturing environment requiredExperience in a high-mix, low-volume environment preferredTechnical SkillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with ERP systems such as:Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralSAPOracle NetSuiteInfor LNExperience with business intelligence tools such as:Microsoft Power BITableauKnowledge of SQL and database reporting tools preferredStrong data visualization and reporting skillAbout UsAt TAPCO, we aim to enhance transportation and personal safety in our communities through innovative solutions and products.
