The company is growing its team and is looking for an exceptional Operations / People & Relations professional to join at an early stage and help build the foundations of the organisation.

About the Role

The role

This is a broad, hands-on role covering a mixture of people, communications and day-to-day operational responsibilities.

You will work closely with the team to help ensure the company operates effectively as it grows, while taking ownership of projects and responsibilities that would typically sit across several functions in a larger organisation.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities are likely to include:
• Supporting people and HR-related processes
• Managing internal and external communications
• Supporting recruitment and candidate relationships
• Coordinating with candidates, researchers and external stakeholders
• Helping develop and improve internal processes
• Supporting the practical day-to-day running of the organisation
• Taking ownership of ad-hoc projects as the company evolves
• Helping build the culture and operating infrastructure of an early-stage business

The role will naturally evolve as the company grows, making it particularly well suited to someone who wants to develop with the organisation rather than operate within a narrowly defined job description.

We are looking for someone highly capable, ambitious and intellectually curious.

A strong scientific or technical academic background is highly desirable. We are particularly interested in candidates who have attended a leading university and can demonstrate that they are comfortable operating in a highly technical environment.
