Shift: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Operating Room experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years experience required in OR, trauma.
Unit Details: - General surgery operating room role supporting surgical procedures by preparing equipment and instrumentation, maintaining the sterile field, anticipating surgeon needs, passing instruments, assisting with sponge/suction, holding retractors, applying electrocautery to clamps on bleeders, irrigating the operative site, cutting suture material, connecting drains to suction, applying dressings, caring for instrumentation and equipment after procedures, and assisting with room turnover. - Uses surgeon preference cards and is responsible for identifying breaks in aseptic technique. - Patient population includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. - Fast-paced surgical environment with trauma volume comparable to a level 1 trauma center.
Shift & Scheduling: - Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun schedule. - No call. - May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. - Schedule varies based upon department needs; weekends and holidays may be required. - Flexible hours and overtime may be required.
Floating Requirements: - Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
14 days maximum time off
