Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $1980 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Strong (proficient/expert) experience is required in general surgery, orthopedic surgery (total joints are required), neuro surgery (craniotomy and spine are required), vascular surgery, trauma surgery, and Da Vinci robotics (cardiac cases are required, including moving the arms and draping).

Preferred Skills/Experience: 3 years of OR experience preferred. Transplant experience is not a hard-stop requirement.

Special Requests: The OR unit does not accept travelers who were previous staff at this facility.

Shift & Scheduling: All shifts rotate among days, evenings, and nights. Call and weekends are required; call may be on weekdays and/or weekends. Weekend shifts may be Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. In 6 weeks, there may be up to 3 weekend call shifts: Saturday call is 24 hours (7a-7a), or Sunday call is 16 hours (7a-11p). There may be additional Friday night shifts. Call response time is 30 min. In-house call rooms are available for use if needed.

Floating Requirements: Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

6 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
