The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experience in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Spine.
Responsibilities
- Position the patient for surgery, prep the patient, and circulate during cases as the Circulating RN
- Assist with preparation and monitoring during operative procedures as applicable
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
- A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
