Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) | Travel Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have extensive circulating experience across multiple surgical specialties and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity operating room.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 5 years of Operating Room RN experience
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- Current BLS certification
- CNOR preferred, but not required
Surgical Experience Required
Candidates must have circulating experience in the following specialties:
- Orthopedic Trauma
- Total Joint Replacement
- Spine
- Vascular
- Gynecology
- Gynecologic Oncology
- Robotics
- General Surgery
- Hepatobiliary (HPB)
- Bariatrics
- Urology
- ENT
- Ophthalmology
- Pain Management
- Plastic Surgery
Preferred Skills
Night shift candidates should also have:
- Charge RN experience
- Scrubbing proficiency
- Experience with laparoscopic and open abdominal procedures
- Orthopedic trauma
- Cystoscopy
- Vascular procedures
- Robotics experience (preferred)
Candidates should be flexible, self-motivated, work well independently, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

- Unit Secretaries
- Technical Support Staff
Orientation
- Facility orientation
- Department-specific orientation
Schedule
- Shift: 12-hour Days
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every 4th weekend rotation
- On-call required (approximately 6 call shifts every 6 weeks)
- 45-minute response time when on call
- Holiday rotation required (approximately 75% of holidays)
- Schedule is published in 6-week rotations
