Education

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing with a bachelor\'s degree in nursing;
  • or Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate\'s degree in nursing with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience preferred in a procedural area and a minimum of 6 months of experience in that service line.
  • Licensure: Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.

Certification: BLS and ACLS certifications required, and applicable certification based on specialty may be required.
