Position Overview

The Platform Partner at Initio Capital is a strategic role focused on identifying, developing, and managing key partnerships that accelerate the firm’s platform growth. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure that the company’s portfolio benefits from strong, value-driven partnerships. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with extensive experience in business development and a deep understanding of how to drive success through strategic alliances and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and evaluate key platform partnerships that drive long-term business value and enhance portfolio capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership, product teams, and other business units to ensure alignment and optimization of platform initiatives.

Business Growth & Optimization: Develop and execute strategies for scaling platform capabilities through high-impact partnerships, focusing on enhancing both operational efficiency and market expansion.

Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Lead partnership negotiations, structuring terms and agreements that align with the company’s strategic and financial objectives.

Market Research & Intelligence: Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify emerging market trends and uncover new partnership opportunities.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and assess the performance of partnerships to ensure alignment with key objectives and ROI. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Partnership Integration: Support the integration of new partners and business models, ensuring smooth transitions and value realization across all relevant touchpoints.

Thought Leadership & Advocacy: Represent Initio Capital at industry events and in engagements with external partners to strengthen the firm's brand and business development efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

5-8 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or corporate strategy, preferably within private equity, technology, or venture capital industries.

Demonstrated success in strategic partnership management and a proven ability to scale businesses through high-value collaborations.

Experience with deal negotiation, structuring , and partner management .

Strong analytical skills , with the ability to assess partnership opportunities and market dynamics.

Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal, to influence stakeholders and build relationships at all levels of an organization.

Strategic and innovative mindset , able to think creatively and practically about new business opportunities and partnership models.

Experience in tech-driven platforms and understanding how partnerships can unlock value across digital ecosystems.
