Operating Engineer

Our client, a leader in facility management and building operations, is seeking an Operating Engineer 2 to join their team. As an Operating Engineer 2, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Operating Engineer 2

Location: San Antonio, TX

Pay Range: $29 to $31 per hour

What's the Job?

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across various systems.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

• Monitor and record system performance, making adjustments to ensure optimal operation.

• Assist with preventative maintenance, inventory control, and safety procedures.

• Support team members with multi-skilled tasks in a collaborative environment.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• 2-4 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.

• Experience with Chillers, Air Compressors, Condensers, and piping systems (500+ tons).

• EPA 608 Type II Certification.

• Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
