Role: OpenText Documentum Developer

Location: Plano/Richardson - TX or Hard fort - CT / Tempe - AZ

Workplace Type: 3 Days Hybrid-On-site

Employment Type: W2 or 1099 Contract

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with deep expertise in OpenText Documentum and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Documentum application development, Java, Python, REST APIs, and AWS cloud environments.

Required Qualifications:

Documentum Expertise

• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting Documentum applications.
• Hands-on experience with Content Server, D2 Config, D2 Classic, D2 Smart View, Brava, CTS, xPlore, and DFC Client.
• Strong understanding of Documentum architecture, object model, and security.
• Experience with platform upgrades and migrations.

API Development

• 2+ years of experience implementing REST APIs using Spring Framework.
• Experience with Documentum or similar ECM platforms is preferred.

Programming & Tools

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Python.
• Proficiency with:
• Git
• Jenkins
• Jira
• IntelliJ
• Tomcat / J2EE
• Relational databases
• Strong understanding of design patterns and software architecture.

Software Development Practices

• Familiarity with unit testing and code coverage.
• Understanding of deployment and release processes.
• Experience with vulnerability management and system monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

AWS / Cloud Experience

• 3+ years of experience working with AWS services, including:
• EC2
• ECS
• RDS
• ALB
• SSM
• SQS
• SNS
• Lambda
• AWS SDK
• Experience troubleshooting AWS deployments.
• Ability to review configurations, security policies, and application/infrastructure logs.

Agile Methodology

• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum practices, including:
• Sprint Planning
• Backlog Refinement
• Daily Stand-ups
• Retrospectives

Collaboration & Communication

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Self-Management

• Ability to independently manage time, tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong ownership and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
