Primary Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, administer, and maintain applications on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- Build, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
- Create and maintain Dockerfiles, container images, registries, and containerized application deployments.
- Automate application builds, testing, and deployments using Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support and troubleshoot FIX messaging infrastructure and trading platform integrations.
- Configure and maintain messaging platforms, including Broadridge Appia, QuickFIX, and SWIFT Alliance Access.
- Monitor containerized applications, optimize platform performance, and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and application teams to implement containerized solutions.
- Perform Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and networking configuration.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, and operational best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container platform technologies.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- Strong experience with Docker, including image creation, container management, registries, and volumes.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Good understanding of FIX Protocol and FIX order flow.
- Experience with financial messaging platforms such as:
- Broadridge Appia
- Open-source QuickFIX
- SWIFT Alliance Access
- Strong Linux system administration experience.
- Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting capital markets or electronic trading platforms.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and container orchestration best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools for containerized environments.
- Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
