The Department of Dermatology at the University of Colorado Schoolof Medicine is seeking a board-certified or board-eligibledermatologist to join our expanding academic faculty to delivercomprehensive medical and procedural care for patients with skin,hair, and nail disorders in an outpatient clinical setting at theUniversity of Colorado Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient careand possess a clear interest in developing a focused clinical nichewithin the department that complements existing programs andadvances specialized patient care, education, and scholarlyactivity. They should enjoy working in a collaborative,multidisciplinary environment, and contribute to our mission ofclinical excellence, education, and access.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of dermatologic conditions
- Perform common dermatologic procedures such as skin biopsies. Cryotherapy, electrosurgery, and excision of benign and malignantlesions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with primary care physicians and specialists when needed.
- Supervise and teach dermatology residents, fellows, and medicalstudents during outpatient clinics.
- Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and sunprotection.
- Participate in departmental conferences and contribute to the academic environment through mentorship, scholarly activities, and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time ofhire.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Dermatology
- Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Colorado
Assistant Professor:
- MD/DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Dermatology
- Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Colorado
Associate Professor:
- MD/DO degree and 4+ years of experience in an academicsetting
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Dermatology
- Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Colorado
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in teaching and working in an academic setting
- Interest in developing a focused clinical niche within thedepartment that complements existing programs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Anticipated Pay Range:
- Assistant Professor $263,638 – $324,748. Total Annual Compensation(including productivity-based incentive) is $363,638 -$424,748
- Associate Professor $288,829 - $345,560. Total Annual Compensation(including productivity-based incentive) is $388,829 -$445,560.
