The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine seeks multiple American Board of Anesthesiology certified or certification-eligible candidates committed to a career in academic medicine. Duties include clinical care, medical supervision of residents and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, teaching fellows, residents, and medical students, and research opportunities for interested candidates.
Both tenure-eligible and tenure-ineligible faculty positions are available.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree and must have completed an anesthesiology residency program. Candidates must be American Board of Anesthesiology certified or certification-eligible.
