Shipping Op ReceiverThe Shipping Op Receiver is responsible for the coordination, unloading and receiving of all outside purchased product, as well as product coming from Mexico.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Track all inbound product via receiving listEnsure OP area is organized and product rotated dailyReconcile all hold-over OP product to track any product left behind or has not movedCommunicate all issues and discrepancies to Expeditor and/or SalespersonUnload all OP deliveries via forkliftVerify all counts on all OP product being receivedEnsure all product is in good receiving condition before accepting productAudit reference numbers to assure match on the order number in reporting softwarePut away product in designated areas once receivedPerform both unloading and receiving in a timely manner for service purposesFacilitate coordination of product amongst truck drivers, shipping office and salesSupport coverage to Shipping Dispatcher as neededMaintain courteous relations with all customers and driversOther duties may be assigned to meet operational demandsEducation And/ Or Experience:Able to travel/relocate to and from Yuma, AZ as requiredBilingual (English/Spanish)Forklift – loading experience preferredMinimum 1 year in distribution function preferredHigh school diploma requiredMust be able to work nights and weekends if requiredKnowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelSkills And Qualifications:Team player who will exceed assigned responsibilities and assist others to reach objectivesWillingness and ability to work occasional long and sometimes irregular hours including working night shifts, weekends and holiday hoursAbility to perform multiple tasks and adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to work in a fast pace environment, excellent time management skills, self-motivated, attention to detail and accuracy, great organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skillsAble to work in a respectful and professional manner with all levels of employeesWork onsite and meet position's attendance schedule, as required by the jobWork Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a cold (34-36 degrees F) and wet manufacturing environment, the smell of chlorine and ammonia, outside weather conditions, uneven walking surfaces, heavy machinery, forklift traffic and loud noise.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position.
