nInsight Global is looking for an Onsite Service Engineer to join the team of a large Semiconductor equipment manufacturer. The primary responsibility of this individual is to sustain equipment onsite at one of their client locations in Chandler, AZ. This will include installing and troubleshooting vacuum pumps, abatement, gas, and chemical delivery systems, to ensure the equipment is functioning at an optimum level and any equipment failures are rectified immediately.
nThe ideal candidate is someone that has prior mechanical / electrical troubleshooting experience and is looking to apply that knowledge within the semiconductor industry. This individual will need to be reliable and have a strong desire to show up to work every day, eager to learn and apply the various trainings they will complete. This apprenticeship includes both hands on training with the equipment, along with online coursework throughout the duration of the role, to ensure that you're consistently growing your knowledge and improving your skills.
nAdditional responsibilities include:
nAdhering to safety and sub fab protocols to maintain a zero-hazard environment
nMaintaining punctuality and professional behavior with both peers and clients
nOperation of test equipment including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools
nReviewing detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to troubleshoot equipment failures
nWorking collaboratively with team members, driving a positive work environment, and jumping in to assist coworkers as needed

nSkills and Requirements
n2+ years of experience troubleshooting Electrical / Mechanical systems
nAbility to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and other equipment diagrams
nStrong desire to further your knowledge through hands on training and supplemental online coursework Strong understanding of electrical components including relays, controllers, fuse boxes, inverters, ect.
nPrior military experience within a MOS responsible for sustaining / troubleshooting equipment
