Responsibilities
This is an on‑site position supporting several nursing centers: Ravenswood Center (Ravenswood, WV), Parkersburg Care Center (Parkersburg, WV), Miletree Center (Spencer, WV), and Willows Center (Parkersburg, WV).
We’re looking for a People Strategy Partner to lead the charge in making Genesis Healthcare the best place to work in the industry. Your mission is to build a culture within a “Pod,” a small cluster of neighboring nursing centers, where people stay because they feel seen, heard, and valued. You will spend 90% of your time on the front lines, driving retention initiatives and reducing turnover by empowering nursing center leaders to be the best versions of themselves.
Position Highlights
- Culture Architect: Translate Genesis values into daily actions. Serve as a culture coach, helping Nursing Home Administrators (NHA) and Department Heads prioritize their greatest asset—their people.
- Retention Specialist: Dive deep into turnover data to uncover the reasons behind turnover, and create actionable strategies that keep our best talent within the Genesis family.
- Leadership Catalyst: Empower Pod Leaders and nursing center leadership through real‑time coaching, resolving conflicts at the local level and building high‑performing teams.
- Employee Journey Expert: Oversee the employee journey from first day through continuous growth, ensuring a seamless, respectful, and rewarding experience.
- Strategic Navigator: Bridge the gap between corporate HR policies and local nursing center needs, ensuring everything is equitable, compliant, and human.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
- Minimum five years of relevant HR experience, ideally in healthcare or a multi‑site operational setting.
- Proven knowledge of HR disciplines including compensation, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment law.
- PHR or SHRM certification preferred.

Posted Salary Range
USD $75,000.00 – USD $90,000.00 per year.
