Mainframe Onsite DeveloperHaving 2+ years of experience in development and support of MF based applications into insurance domainResponsibilities:Ability to quickly gain a working knowledge of the technical environments in which the system operates when joining a new project / teamAbility to create technical/design artifacts to demonstrate technical flows, specification and interfaces of the systemMastery of application design skills, methods and toolsStrong communication skills both written and verbal, ability to tailor message to different audiencesFacilitates and/or participates in the design/development processRequirements:Able to work independently in Mainframe systems using COBOL, IMS, DB2, JCL, MQ, ENDEVOR, CASEGENGood understanding of DB2 and IMS and related tools like QMF, SPUFI, AQT etc.Ability to work on WORD, VISIO, EXCELWorking experience in IMS is mandatoryAble to code, debug and unit test effectively in mainframe environmentWell versed with SDLC and Quality processesShould be able to collaborate with client and multiple vendors to solve problemsGood team player with excellent communication (Both Verbal and Written) and should have ability to work under pressureNice to have:Prior Experience in Insurance or banking or healthcare domainCandidates requiring visa sponsorship WILL NOT be considered at this time.We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
