Online Shopping Clerk

Job Purpose:- The Online Shopping Clerk at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for ensuring a seamless and efficient online shopping experience for customers by accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or pick-up. This role involves maintaining high standards of quality and customer service while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.Key Responsibilities:- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct quantities and quality.- Scan, bag, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pick-up.- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.- Communicate effectively with management about any issues or discrepancies with orders.- Adhere to safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.- Assist in restocking shelves and performing other store duties as needed.- Ensure fast and accurate processing of orders to meet customer expectations.Benefits:Full Time - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401k, Paid Time Off, and Holiday Pay.Full Time and Part Time - Employee Discount and Time & Half Holiday Pay.Required Education:- High school diploma or GED- On-the-job training providedPreferred Education:- Some coursework in retail, customer service, or logistics (optional)Required Experience:- No prior experience required- Willingness to learn order picking, scanning, and store layoutPreferred Experience:- 1+ year of retail, grocery, or warehouse experience- Experience with POS, scanning devices, or inventory systems- Knowledge of store layout and product locationsRequired Skills and Abilities:- Attention to detail and accuracy- Time management and efficiency- Physical stamina (lifting, walking, bending)- Customer service and communication- Basic math and scanning/technology skills- Teamwork and reliability- Ability to follow safety and company policies
