Ongoing Gastroenterology Locums Job in Colorado

A Colorado hospital is seeking a gastroenterologist for a locum tenens position. This hospital-based role involves filling gaps in call coverage with 24-hour call shifts. Candidates must be proficient in performing ERCP and EUS procedures. The average callback hours range from 8 to 11 hours. The schedule includes 5-7 days per month, on an ongoing basis. The setting is inpatient, with required procedures including scoping, ERCP, EUS, endoscopy, GI bleed management, and evaluation of GI problems. The patient population includes adults, geriatrics, and adolescents, with 8-10 new patients per day.

Minimum Requirements:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active Colorado medical license and DEA
• Clean malpractice history
