Oncology Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages, usually focusing on the acute phase.
• Assist patients ranging from post-surgical to near-terminal, manage their disease and treatment effectively, and may administer chemotherapy.
• Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and disease specifics.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility
