What You ll Do
- Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments to adult cancer patients
- Order and interpret tests and medical images to plan patient care
- Prescribe radiation doses and document treatment plans
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage outpatient and inpatient radiation procedures in a busy cancer center
- Maintain accurate documentation within MOSAIQ and Epic EMR systems
- Participate in quality assurance and safety protocols for radiation procedures
What You Need
- Ohio medical license and board certification/eligibility in Radiation Oncology
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical radiation oncology experience
- Strong knowledge of radiation treatment planning (e.g., IMRT, SBRT, 3D-CRT, IGRT)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and collaborative team environment
About the Assignment
This assignment involves outpatient and inpatient radiation oncology coverage at a well-established cancer center. The facility requires physician coverage due to recent retirements, providing an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a supportive environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with some flexibility depending on the coverage needs, and travel expenses are reimbursed.
