Oncology Pharmacy Manager: Lead high‑impact oncology pharmacy operations and clinical programs focused on safer chemotherapy, smarter workflows, and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day chemotherapy verification.
- Sterile compounding in accordance with USP <797> and <800>.
- Optimization of oncology order sets and decision support.
- Investigational drug services readiness.
- Oncology and antimicrobial stewardship.
- Quality and safety metrics tied to accreditation and outcomes.
- Collaboration with clinical specialists, informatics, supervisors, pharmacy technicians, oncology nurses, oncologists, hematologists, APPs, and case management.
- Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy.
Qualifications
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD).
- Background requirements: PGY‑1 plus PGY‑2 (specialty or HSPAL), or PGY‑1 plus about two years directly relevant experience, or approximately four years of pertinent experience.
- Licensed as a pharmacist in Massachusetts by the start date.
- Advanced degree and prior leadership exposure strongly preferred.
