Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $47.00/hr

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in Texas.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Job Description:

An oncology clinic is seeking a GYN Clinic RN to join their team at their Central Austin location. This person will be responsible for:

• Planning, implementing, coordinating, evaluating and promoting the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
• Assessing health statuses by interviewing patients regarding current status and medical history.
• Assessing patient/family needs and providing teaching and other instructional material.
• Providing psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Facilitating clinical operations and patient care
• Managing patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy telephone line and recording the information in the patient chart.
• Facilitating and scheduling consultations, pre-testing, diagnostic tests or procedures, referrals and future appointments for patients.
• Triaging patient phone calls as needed and documenting relevant information in the patient chart.
• As necessary, facilitating communication between patient/family and interdisciplinary team and coordinating services related to patient care.
• Assisting patients in locating available community resources.
• Acting as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.
