Hematology Oncology Physician
WPS Providers, Inc., a regional healthcare professional provider, seeks a physician to provide comprehensive medical care for patients in the area by initiating services to examine, evaluate, diagnose and oversee the treatment of patients through the utilization of diagnostic tools and instruments and direct the preparation and implementation of testing procedures, protocols and modalities for persons who present with symptoms and diseases related to blood disorders and/or cancer. The person who is in this position will be responsible for prescribing medications and ordering tests as well as interpreting the test results in furtherance of the diagnostic process. The Hematology Oncologist Physician serving in this position shall endeavor to seek optimal outcomes for patients coming under his or her care. This position is located at a clinic in Kingsport, Tennessee. Furthermore, the person in this position must have M.D., D.O. or foreign medical degree equivalent, completion of internal medicine residency and fellowship in Hematology and Oncology medical disciplines. This person should also have Board Certification and/or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine as well as Hematology/Oncology. The individual should also be licensed to practice medicine in Tennessee.
