Gyn Surgery Oncology Unit
Unit details: 29-bed telemetry monitored med/surg unit. Gynecology and Gynecology/Oncology patients, Urogynecology (TVT, Cystoscopy, A & P Repair), general medical-surgical diagnoses including behavioral health that is not eligible for the behavioral health unit; hematology (sickle cell); bladder scanning; straight cath; TPN; PICC lines; PCA; telemetry; IV pain medications; blood and blood products; NG tubes; COVID patients at times.

Sign On Bonus: $7,500 Days & $10k Nights
Pay Range: $32.50-$46.50
Shift Differentials:
Nights - 15% plus $2.00/hr
Weekend - 10%
Holiday - 50%
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License.
Certification: Current AHA BLS certification is required upon hire.
Experience: Minimum 6 months of hospital advanced care hospital RN experience is required.
Knowledge/Skills: Must be able to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor; basic computer knowledge; strong organization skills; effective interpersonal and communication skills.
The clinical nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical emotional and spiritual support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of nursing. The RN utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department's scope of service. The RN serves as a guide healer collaborator teacher leader and sentry. The RN collaborates with, and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act Nursing Code of Ethics and applicable regulatory standards.
