Identifying and analyzing data from medical records related to diagnosed cancer cases, the full-time Oncology Registry Data Specialist II will perform this role remotely while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and maintaining productivity and accuracy in abstracting tasks. Key responsibilities Researches sources to identify reportable cancer cases and abstracts relevant demographic and treatment information Maintains abstracting timeliness and productivity requirements, ensuring at least one abstract is completed every two hours Collaborates with the oncology registry team to enhance processes and monitors daily workflow for compliance with performance indicators Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 3 or more years of experience in healthcare or healthcare informatics, with a preference for oncology data experience Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification required within 24 months of hire Knowledge of American College of Surgeons' standards and requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EPIC, and CRStar
