Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center seeks a Full‑time Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Oncologist/Hematologist to provide comprehensive oncology/hematology services in a rural community setting in Salida, Colorado.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver full spectrum oncology and hematology care to patients in a rural community.
- Collaborate with an infusion center located adjacent to the oncology clinic.
- Work in partnership with an existing part‑time BC Oncologist and a full‑time Oncology Physician Assistant (currently present one day per week).
- Participate in tumor board discussions and multidisciplinary care meetings.
- Maintain an average of 100–180 clinic visits per month, with a target of approximately 170 visits monthly.
- Utilize the Aprima electronic medical record system for patient documentation.
Compensation
- Competitive salary of $485,000 per year.
