Entry-Level Field Network TechnicianWe are seeking an Entry-Level Field Network Technician to join our service team in the Portland, OR area. This is a field position with a possible territory near you, as we service all of Portland and surrounding areas.Required Skills/KnowledgeKnowledge of network connectivity, network security and Wi-Fi networks.Good understanding of Windows environment and common operating systemsAbility to work with a variety of customers and vendors (some technical some non-technical)Ability to communicate with customers in order to gather more informationAggressive problem solverAbility to travel locally to different clientsAbility to communicate through phone / email / written documentationQualificationsPrevious network field experience preferred but not requiredKnowledge of networking protocols and concepts (SMTP, FTP, SMB, Ports, TCP/IP)Knowledge and hands-on experience providing support to users using Windows Desktop Operating Systems and other mainstream Microsoft applicationsStrong communication skills and ability to work cohesively with clientsValid Driver's license and clean driving record.
