Level 2 Desktop / Site Support TechnicianWe are seeking a hands-on Level 2 Desktop / Site Support Technician to provide onsite end-user and facility IT support at its Hartsville-area manufacturing location. This role requires a technician who understands core Windows desktop support concepts, can work independently on day-to-day issues, and retains foundational IT knowledge without repeated guidance.The ideal candidate is confident in endpoint support fundamentals, communicates clearly with users and IT teams, documents solutions, and maintains personal reference material to ensure consistent issue resolution.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite Level 2 support for end users across Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and business applicationsTroubleshoot PC hardware, software, and operating system issuesSupport printer issues (local and network printers)Perform PC imaging, deployment, and refresh activitiesAssist the network team with onsite support, including:Cable troubleshootingSwitch replacements (hands-and-eyes support)Respond to and resolve network connectivity issues at the desktop levelSupport project-based IT work as neededRequired Technical KnowledgeCandidates must demonstrate a clear understanding of the following core concepts:Windows permissionsUnderstanding folder permissions and how to modify or update themRemote Desktop Protocol (RDP) Active DirectoryUnderstanding computer objects and Organizational Units (OUs)Ability to move computers between OUsSCCMFamiliarity with imaging and deployment workflowsQualifications2–5+ years of hands-on desktop or site support experience (Level 2 preferred)Experience supporting onsite users in an enterprise environmentManufacturing or plant-floor support experience is a plusStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
