It's a difference you can feel when you walk through the door.Position SummaryWe are seeking an On-Call Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to outpatient therapy services, helping ensure efficient scheduling, accurate patient information, insurance verification, and excellent customer service. This position supports therapists, patients, families, physician offices, and clinic leadership as needed across multiple therapy locations.ResponsibilitiesSchedule and coordinate patient appointmentsAnswer phone calls and respond to patient, family, and physician inquiriesVerify insurance benefits and document information accuratelyEnter and maintain patient demographics, insurance, referral, and physician information in the EMRAssist with obtaining physician orders, referrals, authorizations and other required documentationSupport patient billing processes, statements, and collection of patient payments as directedCommunicate scheduling, insurance, and authorization updates to appropriate staffPerform general office duties including scanning, faxing, and data entryMaintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirementsAssist with other administrative duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious administrative, customer service, billing or healthcare office experience preferredStrong organizational, communication, and computer skillsAbility to multitask and work independentlyExperience with scheduling, EMR systems, or insurance verification preferredWork ScheduleThis is an on-call position with hours based on staffing and operational needs.
