To support a growing team, the contract Okta Architect will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable identity solutions for enterprise environments, working remotely until December 31, 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Okta solutions, including SSO and MFA
- Conduct discovery workshops, gather requirements, and deliver Proofs of Concepts (POCs) for complex IAM use cases
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to delivery teams while ensuring solutions align with security best practices and compliance frameworks
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) with expertise in enterprise IAM
- Proven experience architecting and implementing Okta solutions at enterprise scale
- Strong expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and modern authentication patterns
- Hands-on experience with Okta Universal Directory, Workflows, and application integrations
- Technical background in JavaScript, Node.js, Java, or similar development technologies
