Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Certified Coder will analyze complex clinical and demographic information to assign ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT/HCPCS codes across various care settings while ensuring compliance and accuracy in coding practices. Key responsibilities Perform coding for outpatient, surgical, and inpatient encounters, validating MS-DRGs and/or APCs Review complex documentation, resolve discrepancies, and manage multiple work queues efficiently Provide mentorship to coding staff and collaborate with CDI and providers to enhance documentation alignment Required qualifications 1 year of coding experience High School Diploma or GED AHIMA-RHIA, AHIMA-RHIT, AHIMA-CCS, AAPC-CPC, AAPC-CIC, or AAPC-COC certification
